Naps(come in those who are getting at least an hour!)

Are you using blackout shades?  I bought some yesterday and am hoping that it helps Addyson nap longer.  She is overly tired even after she wakes up!

  • Not official blackout shades, but we have pulldown shades and dark curtains in DS's room. They seem to work better in the early morning than during naps, though, since I always had him napping out in the living room during the day when he was a newborn.

  • We have them and they've definetely helped in the early morning hours.  Naps, I usually don't bother with them because I know the babysitter won't have them.

  • No black out shades.  I just pull the blinds down and that's it.
  • Nope.  Just a cellular shade and then a light set of curtains.  The room is still bright-ish.  But she takes usually around a 3-hour nap in there every afternoon with no issues.
