....and it freaks me out. DD was never this active and even as a toddler she's not super energetic and all over the place. This little guy is doing somersaults in there right now and it's freaking me out. I think I may have a fiesty one!
Agreed, it's fricking weird. The first time I saw my shirt wiggle on its own, I thought 'It's aliiiiiive!'. Very frankenstein-esque, lol. The first time my husband saw the baby move, he said something along the lines of 'oh no Ripley, the aliens got you too!'... I would have kicked him in the shins if I hadn't been laughing so hard. Ah the simple joys of pregnancy, lol, who knew?
It looks cool but it hurts! I feel like shes trying to dig her way out! Shes never been this active, makes me worry a little about her coming early, I'm considered full term but I need her to stay in there 2 more weeks. Her carseat is being shipped lol, I'm terrible, just ordered it this week.

Don't worry- my lo is super super active as well and I'm past due! She moves and kicks so hard and violently that it hurts and you can see a leg pop out and kick across my stomach (I'm talking- it raises that part up a good 4 inches from where the rest of my stomach is). I have no idea how she hasn't broken my water from how hard she thrashes!
i could have written this post!! DH says we are in trouble with this lil guy....he makes the bed move when i lay down! LOL.....DD never was this active!

My LO is super active in there too! It is crazy when she gets things rocking and rolling, but I think it is amazing. The weirdest thing to me is being surprised by a movement coming from within my own body.
It freaked me out at first too! I liked to see little bumps here and there but once I could say "Hmm, that looks like a foot or his head, etc" it was weird. But I love it now. Just hard to get used to I think!
Watching her move around took a little while to get used to for me... It would startle me at first but now I absolutely LOVE when it happens, especially when DH is around to see it happen :-) I had an ultrasound around 16/17 weeks, before I could feel her move, and the technician said she was having trouble keeping up with her because she was moving around so much! I should've known right from that day that she would be a hyper one! I believe that feeling your LO move is the best part of being pregnant IMO. :-)
LOL, let me clarify that I'm NOT freaked about the movement itself. I'm freaked out that if movement inutero coincides with movement outside then this kid is going to be super energetic like DH! With DD I rarely felt her. It was usually when I would lie down. But with this guy I could be watching TV and he'll start doing the samba!
Meh - it still kinda creeps me out to watch my belly move! There's a definite disconnect for me between what's going on inside and what's going on in my head. Seeing it messes with that disconnect. Like "yeah, I know there's something in there" becomes "holy crap, this thing is big enough to be seen!"
I always tell DH, our little alien is at it again. Seriously it looks like an alien. haha! It is very cool, but the first time I saw an elbow I got freaked out. It looks like horns coming out of my stomach. I'm a FTM and I have heard part of the baby blues is because you can't have those amazing moments of watching and feeling LO move.
OMG! During lunch my LO did not stop moving around. I lifted my shirt so u cans see my belly and my friend was freaked out how she would see my belly pop up and down. LO was playing with me every time I tapped on my belly he kick or move.
Definitely going to miss this part of being preggo. I love seeing him move around, oh boy going to be a very active baby.

I think it's pretty damn cool- nothing freaky about it.
Not sure it has anything to do with the baby's personality.
