Is there a difference between fleece soakers and wool as far as an overnight option goes? Fleece just seems so much softer and definitely more cost effective but it seems like most mamas use wool. What are your thoughts on fleece?

Re: Fleece soaker vs. wool
I'm still learning about fleece, but one thing I've been warned about is that since fleece wicks moisture away but doesn't hold it within its fibers (like wool does), that compression can be an issue. Meaning, if your LO sleeps on their tummy and is a heavy wetter, a fleece soaker might wick away the pee and transfer it to their PJs or their sheets. But if you're using enough INSIDE the fleece (like diaper plus soaker, and anything additional) then there shouldn't be enough moisture inside to do that much wetting outside the diaper/soaker. Make sense?
I've heard great things about Dancing Bears overnight fleece soakers because they are made of a thicker fleece. Last night we used a Polar Bummis wrap over DS's fitted (posted below), with a hemp insert tucked between the fitted and the cover just in case, and he did 11 hours with that and no wetness/wicking occurred.
I currently have 1 fleece soaker we use during the day but I haven't used it at night because it doesn't fit over his nighttime bulky CDs.
