My sweet baby girl was born on July 20th (two weeks early), and since then I have been doing the new mama thing: loving on my baby girl, getting little to no sleep, and walking around in a haze. I just now got a chance to type up her birth story so check out my blog and read the story, if you'd like.
I have a few more posts to come: the "sts" of Labor, delivery, and post partum (bests, worsts, mosts, leasts, etc.), so stay tuned.
Re: BRIA'S BIRTH STORY
thanks!
you should be excited!!! i'm excited for anyone having a baby because its magical.
the nurses had never received anything like them either and they were definitely big hits. i wrote a short blog on that a few days before going into labor (there are 2 pictures for inspiration if you wanna check then out). but basically i went to the dollar store and bought 2 cheap baskets and filled them with snacks (mini mac and cheese cups, cookies, candies, crackers, trail mix, juice powder, etc) and lotions. it kinda butters but the nurses and was my way to say thank you -- they did SO much more for me than the doctor did. he was around for about 45 minutes and then the nurses took care of me and LO the rest of the time.
good luck!
