Honestly, my first reaction is that at 7 weeks, there is still such a higher chance that something could go wrong. And knowing the sex can make a loss that much harder.
I only know the sex of one of my losses - my third loss was a little boy, he had Trisomy 16. I wish I didn't know, to be honest. The genetic counselor told me even though I had asked not to be informed.
I never thought of it that way. That is a good point. But, the article mostly talks about knowing for other reasons (which I think are great if they can help in the end!) I am sorry about your loss. I hope I didn't offend anyone by posting this. Plus, it was exciting going into my 20 week u/s and finding out that my son had a "third leg". That is really how the tech told me.

IDK. I wouldn't want to know that early.
