Baby Names

MN help please!

Ok after I had pretty much given up on my SO ever coming up with a name. He surprised me a few days ago and I liked it...even better my 9 yr old son likes it too. So, our son's name will be Deacon. Now we have to decide which mn to use. We can't decide between James and Ross. James is after my grandfather who I am very close to. Ross is after my SO's uncle and great-grandfather and is also my brother's mn. We keep going back and forth between the two. If it were you, which would you choose????? Thanks

  • Deacon James sounds great together and could be nick named DJ, that's nice.

Deacon Ross also sounds great and I like how many people he'd share the name with.

You really can't go wrong! great names. My vote is for Ross just because of the family connections.

  • I normally would say James, but I like the fact that Ross honors more family members and is less common.

  • You can't really go wrong here, but I think James is a pinch better sounding. Well, not "better" but I just prefer it. They're both great names, though!!
