this is my new guilty pleasure name. I've been loving it for awhile now. But I'm not sure that it works with my last name. My LN is similar to the word Ottoman, if it were pronounced with a hard O. So like Oh-toe-man (if you say it fast and it runs together).

So what do you think? Could it work? Maybe? Please?

Girl, you know I love you. That's why I've gotta be honest and say "No." The name itself isn't my style, but it's not terrible. But with your last name, I think it would make her sound like a superhero's secret identity...

It's a wee bit awkward sounding, but not horrid. At the top of my list is Honora... that could work a bit better.

I agree. I think Honora flows better than Honor with your last name.

I think the name is a little awkward sounding but could work.

That being said I don't really care for the name Honor. I can just picture middle school boys going "Dude did you get Honor? "Everyone got Honor" (Honor pronounced like On-her). Just my opinion though.

I had a college roomate who had Honor as a middle  name.  Maybe you could do that.

I don't have a problem with the pairing with your last name, but I really don't like the name.

I usually like your style, but Honor? I barely know her? (budump bump) I also think that Honora will become Honoria which, well I wouldnt go there either.

Honora isn't pronounced ON-or-ah; it's on-OR-ah.
