DH and I have finally settled on a first name for DD: Margaret, nn Maggie. Now we're moving on to middle names and I'm stuck.

I want to use a family name for the middle, and since DS has DH's late father's name as his MN, I'd like DD's MN to be from my side of the family.

The problem is, none of the names really work! Our options: Liselotte, Birgit, Marta, Maria.

My favorite is Liselotte, who was my grandmother who recently passed away.  But Margaret Liselotte seems like almost too much name, if that makes any sense. Her NN was Lilo, and I've also come across Elise or Elisa as a variation. Any other thoughts?

We had the same prob and settled on Rose for our daughter's mn.  It's a form of DH's grandmother's name and my late grandmother's favorite flower.  This way, both our grandma's are present in our daughter.
