Piper or Phoebe?

Ok, I'm officially going to stop saying we have a name until she's actually here Piper's really been growing on me a lot, right now the only thing stopping me from saying it's the one is the fn/ln flow (though it's not a dealbreaker).  I'm loving Piper Madeline. 

DH's other favorite is Phoebe, and I'm not sure I like it, but I said the same thing about Piper which has grown on me a ton.  There's nothing wrong with how Phoebe Pond sounds, but I just don't know if Phoebe does as much for me as Piper does. 

What are your thoughts on Phoebe?

I think Phoebe Pond sounds really good.  I personally like Piper better, but not with your last name.  I have the same issue with a P last name which is why Piper has been pushed down on our list.  Since Phoebe has the "F" sound it doesn't pose the alliteration problem.  I would go with Phoebe if I were you.  Plus, Phoebe and Ava are a nice sibset.

Phoebe has been in my top ten for a long time. I like Piper, but I looooove Phoebe. It ages well, but is cute on a little girl. It's spunky, but not silly. It's uncommon, but not unheard of. Perfect, really.

Piper is trendy and may be cute for a little girl but when she's 30 it might sound too childish.

I adore Phoebe! Piper is cute, but as PP pointed out, it's also quite trendy. Phoebe is classic and versatile and simultaneously elegant and spunky. Phoebe Pond also sounds way better than Piper Pond which is a bit too precious, I think...

I love both of those names, they were on my girl name list for a while too because I love love love the TV show Charmed =D Anyways, if I had to pick one, I would go with Piper.

Ok, I didn't read the part where your last name is Pond. I agree that Piper Pond sounds a little like a tongue twister so Phoebe does sound better in that case.

I also liked in that style  Harper, Emerson, Hadley, Delaney   I think its the triple P syllables that trip me up with Piper Pond.

Piper is super trendy and Piper Pond sounds like a cartoon character to me.
