AW/ugh: slow down!!

Brag & vent.

DS started crawling last week.  This weekend, he figured out how to pull himself up so we quickly lowered his crib.  After nap, we watched him on the video monitor as he pulled up & started cruising around his crib.  Having his knees locked, he then fell straight back & slammed his head into the wooden rails.  UGH! 

He just turned 8mo!  I'm glad he's learning to be independent, but slow down!  Or at least quickly learn not to slam your head so I don't have a heart attack.

    He will learn. :) Avery now falls gracefully on his butt. It amazed me how fast he learned how to fall correctly!

    Yes, this! Nora did the same thing -- once. After that, she's fallen on her bum. Hope it's the same for you!
