Progress!!

So....I know it technically means nothing but at my appt. today he said I'm 3cm. dilated and 50% effaced!!!  He also said that women who are this far along at this stage usually have a nice 4 hour labor!  Who knows though, I know this means nothing and people can stay at this stage forever but it is always nice to hear something is happening in there!!!

Yay for progress.  I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced at my 36 week appt with my daughter.  She was born at 37 weeks 5 days!!

great for progress, but don't count on anything being just around the corner. you will have less to "progress" though once you do go in to labor. i'm surprised your doc mentioned something about a quick 4 hour labor though. i don't really think one has to do with the other, especially if this is your first pregnancy. i was around the same with ds#1 at 36/37 weeks, ended up having him at 38wk5d, 12 hour labor.

Well I am still holding high hopes!!  This is my second and with my first I was induced @ 38 weeks due to pre-e and it was an easy probably (don't remember exactly) but I'd say less than 4 hour labor!
