So we need:
A mattress
Bathing products - soaps, etc
Bath temp spout cover gauge(?)
High chair - we were hoping to get the wooden style one
Bottles
Monitor
Changing Pad (and cover)
Swing(?)
I'm sure there is more but I can't think of it... we have a stroller, crib, carseats, bouny chair, bumbo, cheap-o tub, and clothes...
Any suggestions, anything else I need. I want to get all the right stuff on the registry so we can do the completion this week.
TIA everyone!
Re: Finishing registry - need advice and a baby bargains...
diaper bag
mattress pad and sheets
pack-n-play (?) or bassinet?
?
Not sure if you want advice on which brands to get, or if you want advice on what else you need, but I'll go with the first...
We got the Colgate mattress, recommended by BB. I like it, it's super snug in the crib, and we got a good price online.
We have the Born Free Bottles, and the FP Papasan swing...not sure if baby will like them, but I do thus far, so we'll see.
We got the Graco iMonitor. It gets mixed reviews, but it is extremely clear @ our house, so I'm glad we went with it. We also got a less expensive Sony for when we travel. We spend a lot of time at our parents lake houses, so we'll want one on those weekends.
We have a simmons mattress and love it.
I would only use Aveeno. Most babies have sensitive skin and the regualar Johnson & Johnson stuff bothers them.
Skip the spout cover. You won't need it for awhile.
No advice here. We don't have one yet.
Born Free Bottles
Sony BabyCall monitor is the BEST!
We don't use a changing pad.
We got the Graco Swing N Bounce at the suggestion of baby bargains and we don't like it at all.
You might want to think about play mats/tummy time mats. Also make sure you have plently of recieiving blankets.
