Does anyone have any children's book recommendations about teaching our first son about being a big brother, etc? I'd like to get him a book to start preparing him for his baby sister's arrival!!! TIA!
As soon as I saw the title of the thread, I wanted to post "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie!!!" Oh well
There are some cute ones on Amazon.com. I just went to the children's book section and searched for ''becoming a big brother'' and a whole bunch popped up. I think "The New Baby" by Mercer Mayer is really cute. "A New Baby is Coming" by Emily Menendez-Aponte is a good one from what I've heard.
There's a cute one called "I'm a Big Brother" (we have the big sister version) by Joanna Cole. My only issue with the book is that it talks about helping with feeding bottles and we will be breastfeeding only, but it's not a big deal.

Julius, The Baby of the World by Kevin Henkes is about a mouse named Lily and her jealousy over her baby brother. It is a very cute book. It is one of the books I read to my kindergarteners along with other kevin Henkes books and they love it!
