I've always been a snob about Gatlinburg (no offense to anyone) but a friend told me she and her husband rented a chalet last fall and it was *amazing*. My husband and I are planning a 4-day weekend in October to drive to and through the mountains. On road trips we usually use Marriott points and stay at bland (yet free) hotels. We're thinking of forking over actual money for a chalet with a view, hot tub, etc.
From what I can see many of them require a 3-night minimum. It would be ideal if we could find one that would let us stay 2 nights.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Katie
Re: Gatlinburg Chalet
We just got back yesterday! We have stayed in this place 2 years in a row. You really cannot beat the view. I posted a sunset view from our front porch on facebook on Saturday night. My husband can't stand the traffic and crazy-ness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so we stay nearby. Here is the link. Again, I highly recommend!!!

I have stayed at several chalets that were awesome. I can't remember all of them, but I think that I stayed for 2 nights at the Love Sick Blues chalet at this website:
www.gatlinburgcabin.com
I have also stayed in a couple of cabins though www.mountainlaurelchalets.com
but I think they have a 3 night min. Good luck! I love Gatlinburg for a little get a way
We've used a few companies, but this one is our favorite:

They aren't as private as some others, but the cabins are fantastic. I wish I could remember the name of the one we had, because the view was amazing.

We always stay with Auntie Belhams. https://www.auntiebelhams.com/
We have never had a bad experience and love going back.
We've used this rental place twice:

We've stayed in the "bear" themed cabins. They often times run 3 nights and get the 4th free, or $99/night.
