Gift idea for 4 yo girl

My oldest friend's daughter is turning 4 in a few weeks. I need to send her a gift, so it either can't be too huge or I have to ship it directly. Any suggestions? Since she is my BFF, I tend to spend a bit (up to $50), especially if it's great. Last year I got her the American Girl Itty Bitty Baby Doll, which she loved. I don't know that she is into the whole princess dress-up thing, so I might try to avoid that type of thing.

    Fortamajig. LOVE this! My kids can play in this thing for 3 HOURS!!!

    It's around $50, so it's not cheap.

    It's basically a big square piece of fabric with velcro loops on it and you can build it into a fort, teepee, etc.
