I know we can drink a cup of coffee while BFing (right?), but is there a certain time I need to have it? Like, do I need to drink it right after I feed her, or can it be any time? I know this is sort of a silly question, but better safe than sorry.
I drink about 2 cups a day and never censor when I drink it. I start drinking in the morning but sometimes I forget about it or am too busy and drink more later in the day. I've not noticed any supply issues or any adverse affects on my LO. I occasionally drink soda in the afternoon or evening and haven't noticed anything different then either.

I drink a cup in the morning usu while nursing. I drink half caf(sometimes quarter caf!). I can't tell if it has an effect on DS so I'm trying to figure that out. He generally is not too fussy and sometimes naps after his 7/8AM feeding and sometimes not. I haven't noticed any supply issues though.

It really depends on your LO, but I think for the most part it doesn't matter. Very little caffeine passes into the breastmilk. For me, coffee doesn't affect DS at all.
I am not a coffee drinker but I am a Pepsi drinker. With DS#1 I never noticed a difference in his sleep and whatnot when I drank it. I am a regular one-can-a-day drinker- and was throughout his pregnancy so the caffeine did not bother him.
