EBF Baby -- poop really smells?!?

I have a 5.5mo old who is EBF, we haven't started solids yet.  In the past week or so her poop has really really really started to smell and she passes very smelly gas.  Any clue why all of a sudden her gas/poop is starting to smell?  I haven't changed anything in my diet recently.

I think their digestive systems are much more developed and matured at that age so it gets less runny as they age.

Is she teething? I read the other day that when they teeth, they drool more and swallow the drool, which results in runny, acidic poo. DH complained that DD's poop smelled bad the other day, and I just rolled my eyes. She's EBF - it isn't supposed to smell! Then I changed her diaper and omg it kind of smelled like vinegar! Yuck! So, that may be it for your LO as well. HTH!

We just started noticing the same exact thing!  Everyone said his poop wouldn't smell until solids were introduced but OH.MY.GOD. he even puts DH to shame!!!  I was planning on asking the pediatrician about it but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
