Given a day 3 transfer & I am freaking out now!!!

The clinic would not give me any information other then they looked at them and that they would recommend a day 3.....So, I am not going to relax until tomorrow. We had 13 growing, so do that mean that they are not doing well? I want to call back and ask to speak to the embryologist, do you think I am out of line in asking?Anyone have success with day 3? tks

I don't think you are out of line in asking for a reason why a 3dt not a 5dt and expecting an answer.

However I also don't think it is necessarily a bad thing. My RE says that their practice is to move to a 5dt if they can't tell which are the leading embryos. So it may not mean that they are bad it just may mean that some are clearly better.

I would definitely call. They need to give you more information than that. When we were getting our DE updates, they included how many embryos were still growing, number of cells, etc. I think that is only reasonable. I'm sorry you are going through this!
