High Blood Pressure

Did anyone who had high blood pressure in the 3rd tri go until their due date or gate induced early?  I have had high blood pressure the last month and traces of protein in my urine.  I have gone for MULTIPLE blood tests and did a 24 hour urine sample yesterday.  I am about 35 weeks and I am just wondering what I should expect.

My BP was elevated almost entire third trimester.  I was monitored by a specialist and went to 41 weeks.  At that point I asked for an induction.  I had a few trips to L&D, but always stabilized and was able to go to 41 weeks.

I had high bp during third tri of my first pregnancy. Is your dr perscribing meds? I was put on Aldomet and it kept my bp under control until I delivered, 1 day past my due date.

I have borderline high bp and protein in my urine.  My dr diagnosed me with mild pre e and I have been on MBR for 5 weeks.  I am going to be induced Monday which will put me just over 39 weeks

I've had high BP since second tri. I've been on meds since then also which has kept it pretty stable. I've been tested several times for pre-e but always negative. I'm 39 weeks 2 days now, as long as my BP continues to be stable they won't induce before 41 weeks (usually they would induce at 42). At my appointment on Wednesday I was already dilated to 5 and almost 100% effaced so I'm hoping the induction won't be necessary!
