For those of you who use prefolds, how often do you change your covers?

I change them every time, but I don't necessarily wash them. Sometimes I just let them air out.

We put a fresh cover on in the morning, and then reuse it until DS poops.  So we use usually 2 covers during the day (one pre-poop and one post-poop).  We use thick prefolds, so the cover is usually hardly wet (if at all)  Although, if the leg gussets feel wet, I change it out.

I normally trifold so I go through about 3 covers per day, per kiddo.

Bluescarf

I usually use two, one in the morning until afternoon nap, then switch to a new one. I keep that on until bedtime then switch to his nighttime diaper cover.
