Thanks so far I do want the most common way to spell it. I like Connor best-but DH likes Conor. We decided to see what people think is the most natural way to spell it for our LO's sake...
Please don't take this the wrong way but, I have a Tylar because we wanted an unusual way of spelling Tyler. He is 13 and he hates his spelling. When he was growing up we never could find anything made for him with his spelling.
Please reconsider unique spellings.

Opps! I read it wrong and thought you were looking for something unique. Best wishes to you and your Connor.

I think Connor is the most common spelling although I have seen it spelled Conor. I don't think I have ever seen it with an "-er" though.
I would tend to pick the most common spelling as to avoid having DS spell it out all the time for people when he gets older.
Connor.
I had a Conor for a student this year and at first I thought it was a made up spelling. It's not, but it looks incomplete.
Connor.
My CW spells her sons name Conor and it's always bugged me. I know it's an accepted spelling, but it just looks weird w/ only one "n".
~Benjamin Franklin
DS dx with celiac disease 5/28/10
that's how I feel about seeing my name with only one n.
I associate Connor with a last name, both of the Conners I have met spelled it -er.
