I have 800 oz in my freezer and I'm trying to figure out when to start weaning my daytime feeds to use up my freezer supply. Right now, DD takes at least 24 oz a day and drinks 4.5 oz at a time. I'm thinking of weaning when she is 10.5 months old for the daytime feeds. Anyone have any insight?

Re: How many ounces for 11 month old?
She'll probably start taking close to 5-6 ounces each feeding, maybe 16 or so ounces a day. Their milk consumption decreases drastically as they near one.
You put my 500 oz freezer stash to shame!
My math says you have enough for 133 bottles @ 6 ounces each...2 bottles a day for 66 days so it looks like you could start daytime weaning now. I had to do that to use up some of my supply but I can still feed her during the day if I need to, it's not like I dried up.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
When I work, DD gets 5 ounces in the morning, 4 ounces at lunch and dinner, and 6 ounces at night. She doesn't get a bottle or nurse overnight (STTN). I use my freezer supply when I am going back to work after a few days off, as I don't pump when I'm at home anymore. DD is just now 1, and she's been on this kind of feeding schedule since about 11 months.
I don't know how much I have in the freezer, but I just threw out a bunch from September and October. I've heard varying numbers on how many months it is good for at below 0. (DD's milk is at -10 Farenheit.) I figured the consistency/composition of the milk from Sept/Oct is definitely more geared toward her itty bitty self and not her toddler self.
Just a thought - you don't HAVE to be finished with bf at a year (unless you want to be, of course!). We're not starting to wean to a sippy cup until a year, and then we'll continue to nurse at night and she'll get bm in a cup during the day. I'm thinking she'll wind up with bm until she's about 18 months or so.
