Hi ladies,
I checked myself internally after questioning if I have a yeast infection starting and felt what I can describe as a soft piece of flesh sticking out from a soft tissue wall. Maybe 1cm long and kind of flat. Anyone knows if everything is supposed to feel flat in there? My next Dr appointment is in 2 weeks..
TIA
Re: TMI about my "insides"
Could it be your cervix?
https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002317.htm
The cervix is the lower end of the uterus. It is located at the top of the vagina and is about one inch long. The cervical canal passes through the cervix, allowing blood from a menstrual period and a baby (fetus) to pass from the womb (uterus) into the vagina.
The cervical canal also allows sperm to pass from the vagina into the uterus.
I have felt my cervix pre-pregnancy and although Im sure it must feel different now, that wasn't it. It's not huge or hard or anything. And I figure with skin tags and all the weird stuff happening during pregnancy, maybe this is just one more of those things. Because really if it wasn't for me checking inside, I would have never known it was there.
Thanks for the info, maybe thats what it is. I'll check with my Dr.
