How many would you say is too many games to play?

  • I'm not really a fan at all, but anything over 2 is too many to me.

  • I don't like them either but probably 2 would be good.  Also, the gift bingo game would be good because I was at a shower a couple of weeks ago and it got kind of boring watching the mom and dad open gifts for 2 hours.
  • I agree with Madhatter.  People like to socialize at showers - they don't want every minute filled with something to do.
  • I think it really depends on the flow of things.  We played 2 at my shower.  By the time everyone arrived and had a chance to mingle, we played 2 quick games while everyone ate lunch and then it was time to open presents.   I know my mom had bought a few more, but it would have been overkill.

  • I think it's best to play it by ear. It's ok to have 2-4 planned and then once you get a feel for the crowd, you can decide which ones they might like best. In general, 2-3 should be more than enough. Now if people know you have good prizes, they might be more likely to participate too!
