I'm looking for something new to cook tonight with my ground chuck. I'm tired of the same old things over and over. I usually cook.
Hamburgers
Spaghetti
Tacos
Meatloaf
Meatballs
Sloppy Joes
Does anyone have a quick easy recipe for ground chuck that I could try for dinner tonight? TIA
Re: Ground Chuck Recipes
I have two recipes. They are kind of variations of what you already make, but there are only so many things you can do with ground beef. Before long, everything becomes a variation.
Beef Taco Bake
1 lb. ground chuck
1 can Campbells tomato soup
6 tortillas, ripped up into 1 in. pieces
1/2 c. salsa
1 c. cheddar cheese
1/2 c. milk
Brown meat, then mix all ingredients together in a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
Pizza in a bun
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
2 T ketchup
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/4 c. chopped pepperoni
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 c. shredded mozzarella
Hamb. buns
Cook beef with onion; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve like sloppy joe
A quick easy one for us is a tamale pie.
After browning the beef in the skillet, add some diced onion and a can of enchilada sauce mild or hot depending on your spice preference and if you would like add a small can of corn. Stir until combined and then add to a casserole or pie pan. Grate some cheddar cheese and put over meat mixture in pan. In a medium size bowl make cornbread mixture with boxed or homemade and pour over the top of cheese. Bake for however long the cornbread directions say and serve!
