Last BCP today = anxiety

I just took my last BCP before the start of IVF #3.  

Suddenly I feel so anxious.   I just don't feel the same optimism I have felt with previous cycles.  I now have a real fear that this will never work for us and I'm already dreading the devastation of a BFN or another loss. 

Don't you wish the success rates on treatments were a lot higher??  Its hard to be hopeful.

I know the anxiety of which you speak.  Its so hard to remain hopeful after pass failures.  The whole process is so emotionally draining.  ((HUGS))

I will take my last BCP for IVF #3 tomorrow.  Not that I am convinced I will get to start stims next week as planned, but, I'm trying to keep some hope!

Ugh I know! I hate it when they bust out their little pie chart and say you have a 15% chance of conception based on XYZ. I'm like 15%..thanks for raining on my parade!

it is hard to be hopeful but what keeps me going are all the ladies on PaIF and SaIF that had long, hard roads and now are successful.

I hear ya, I started Lupron last night and take last pill Saturday. I have had major anxiety. But I think we just need to look to all the ladies it has worked for to keep us positive. You are not alone. It looks like there are a few of us who are going to be cycling very closely. Good Luck.

Hope for those of us dealing with IF is a double edged sword.  I know it is hard but try to hang in there.  There are those that beat the odds and they are over on S/PAIF!!  GL with this cycle.

I feel the same. I am on bcp's until appt on Monday for IVF #4. I am not sleeping well and consider cancelling and waiting a few more mos every day. I know it is all due to fear of it not working. ((hugs))

I haven't even started IVF and I feel a lot of the same fears.
