I just seen that you were at the Cards game!  I live about 5 minutes from Busch Stadium and was actually suppossed to be at that game, but was way too sick unfortuantely.  Did you do anything else fun in St Louis?

And yes, we all missed you!

    We stayed at the Hampton Inn at the ball park!  It was so nice to be SO VERY close.  Thursday we walked all the way down to Union Station...HOT HOT HOT!  I drank so much water that day total of maybe 10 bottles of water plus a frozen Strawberry Lemonade at the game...the baby wanted it ::giggles to self::  On Friday I was so worn out we just walked around the stadium, to the shop and the 2-3 block radius.  We were going to walk down to the Arch, but I just was not sure I had the energy after Wednesday & Thursday's games plus our adventure Thursday.  It was a good time.  DH LOVES the Cards.  My fav is Yadier Embarrassed

    Awesome! Yeah, I was going to say it was a crazy hot weekend - kudos to you for being able to deal with it!  Was this your first time in STL or do you come often? 

    I'm a yadi fan aswell ;)  They have a shirt out that says "Yadi is a Hottie"

    My mom is from StL & her siblings are still there.  I grew up in Columbia, so we used to go to StL quite often.  Sometimes I go there for work too, Earth City area.  I actually had to get my 2nd beta draw there Smile

    There is just something about Yadi.  He is a hottie!  DH was actually at a bobble head night a few years ago and they were giving out Yadi bobble heads!  So he has that in his "man room".  The bobble head is actually where the whole thing started. Wink  Told him he should have never brought that home. Big Smile

    There was a store in the lower level of Union Station that had Cardinal's baby stuff 1/2 off.  There were some great deals, we ended up with a windbreaker suit and onsie.

    Ahh, I see.  I grew up south of St Louis but have lived up here off and on for about 8 years now. 

    I know exactly what store you're talking about!  I'm pretty sure the first thing we purchase will be something Cardinals.
