I already bought my nephew some M&D food sets, but I need something else. I got him Legos for Xmas so that is out. I was thinking playdoh set (but SIL is a bit of a neat freak) or large floor puzzle (but the ones I saw said ages 4-8). Suggestions appreciated!

Bare Naked Ladies children's cd called Snack Time. You can get it on amazon. Ds got it for his 3rd birthday and has been obsessed ever since. It's all he wants to listen to in the car. Or an insulated straw drink Thermos with his favorite character on it (Walmart or Target). Any kind of matchbox cars. Any of the character cars from the movie Cars. Character pajamas. Stomp rocket (amazon).

All great suggestions! The Stomp Rocket is awesome!  There's also these entirely plastic microphones that echo your voice - super fun!

fishing pole.  My 3 year old loves the Cars one I just bought him last week.  It came with a little object to tie on instead of a hook, and for now we are sticking to that since he does not understand casting at all.
