Theres nothing wrong with baby having hiccups, so don't get too worked up trying to get rid of them. Sometimes breastfeeding itself gets rid of them, even though it harder for baby to feed with them.

I asked the pedi about this at our one week checkup. He said there isn't really anything proven to take care of the hiccups, yet the swallowing action while nursing can help ease them to stop sooner. My LO's hiccup spells really started reducing at about 3 weeks. GL!

(reading this while listening to my 11w old hiccup. Again.) BFing while she had the hiccups helps my munchkin. Other than that, I just let her hiccup away!
