This may be silly...
I toured a chemical plant today for work. I spent about an hour in the plant and breathed in who knows what kind of chemicals. Would you still BF? DD is at daycare right now, but I'll pick her up in a few hours. I have frozen milk that I could give her when I get home. Although I prefer to always nurse her when she's with me, I worry what could be in the milk. (I also have no idea how quickly air pollutants even get into breastmilk - maybe it takes longer, and I should actually dump tomorrows milk! Who knows!) I'm just paranoid that I'm passing along something bad to her. ![]()
Re: Toured a chemical plant today - dump?
I would imagine anything airborne would maybe decrease as it flows through your system, to where it wouldn't be enough to harm LO. But if you want to be on the safe side, I would give her frozen milk and pump/dump for 24 hours.
I got this from Kellymom.com

It depends on what kind of chemicals I guess. I don't think anyone can give you a clear cut answer.
I probably would have thought about this before I went on the tour.
