I think we are putting the house on the market next week

I thought we would have waited. The hubby is really itching to start building.We are actually going to list it for what we bought the house for. We just want to move and if we don't make money on the house, we don't have to pay the tax credit back.

If it sells quickly, we will move into an apt. while we build.

I will say, this house is way too far out. I keep telling myself it's closer to my family, it's closer to my family. The neighborhood is so stand-offish too.

We had our realtor over last night and planning to have our house listed by the end of the month (if not sooner).  And also are considering building.  I'm already stressing over all this.  Good luck to you!

Oh boy!  I hope the whole process goes smoothly for you.  I still haven't recovered from our last move, but at least we're happy here.  It sucks being stuck somewhere you dislike.
