How long did it take to get your 3hr glucose results back?

I took my 3 hr glucose test a week ago today. I just kinda figured they haven't called everything should be fine, well today I called to make sure. They said they don't have the results yet, I kind of find that odd since it doesn't take log to measure blood sugar. So I was wondering how long other people had to wait for the results.

I had mine later the same day. I agree with PP, call the lab and see if someone forgot to fax the results. Sometimes things fall between the cracks (not cool, though).

My appt. was on a Tuesday morning and the Dr. told me I should hear back by Friday at the latest (there policy is "no news is good news so I never heard back). Since it involves taking blood, the test needs to go to a lab, thus taking more than just a few hours to get the results.

Any time you go in for a test, ask them when you should expect a call about the results. I imagine every Drs. office is different.

The Dr's office said they didn't have them. I asked when they thought they should have them and she said call back tomorrow. I then said I had the test done a week ago today her tone kind of changed after I said that(kinda like an "oh crap" tone) and she asked what test and I told her and she then said she was going to call the lab and call me back. I never got a call back and its after 6:00 here so I'm guessing they went home and didn't call me. I definitely have the feeling something is screwed up, I just hope the results are somewhere and I don't have to take it again, and I just hope everything is normal. I will definitely make it my #1 priority tomorrow to get some answers!!!

A few days. I went on a Saturday and didn't get a call until Wednesday but my doctor and her nurse were off Monday & Tuesday.

A week seems too long. I took the test on Sat and they had the results at my Monday appt.

I'm thinking someone screwed up.

I received my results 24 hours later. Then again, the results were that I had GD so hopefully no news is good news for you!

I had my test at 8:45 in the morning, and had my results by 9 am the next day.  Someone def screwed up in your doc's office.

I called doctor's office one week later and got the results that I passed. They probably had the results a little sooner but weren't going to call because the results are good No news is good news kind of office.
