  • I saw some of those in my googling too, however, I think it's just one of those things that  people think purple when they hear amethyst.  I didn't even know there were green ones.  Oh well, I guess I'll learn to deal with it.  LO is already teaching me more tolerance, haha

    **le sigh**

  • I have an earring/necklace set that DH gave me for Christmas made from green amethyst. It's one of my almost daily wears!

  • I never knew there was a green amethyst!  Very pretty!  My birthday is in February and I've never liked the traditional purple amethyst - I'm not a huge fan of purple in general.

  • I got married on May 14, found out I was pregnant a month later. Weird thing is that on my wedding day, my MIL gave me a green amethyst ring as a wedding present (very similar to the one posted above). She said that she wanted to combine my birthstone (green peridot) with my DH's birthstone (amethyst).

Very weird that we are now due in February! Now every time I look down at my ring, I can be reminded of future baby wheels. :)
