Hi there, I saw your post on a previous thread:

"I was a compliance officer at a broker dealer. I can only keep my licenses if I'm affiliated with a b/d so I am concerned about losing them.  I hated my job but I don't think I'm ready to just give up my registration because it wasn't easy.  I'm thinking of doing temp work sometime in the next year to keep them current.  It would be difficult to get f/t work with a great salary, but temp projects could be possible."

A few questions if don't mind.....Right now, I have my 4, 24, 55, 7, and 63. But, I'm also giving my resignation letter to my employer this week to SAH. Due to DD's preemie status, her drs recommended not putting her in day care.

I know I have 2 years to start working for another B/D to keep my licenses active. Side note...do you know if that is a calendar year, or is it 24 months from my quit date? Meaning would I need to find something by Aug of 2013, or by Jan of 2013 or Jan of 2014? (I haven't yet delivered my resignation letter yet, so I don't want to ask around work to find this out). I don't know if it makes a difference, but I had my CE for my principal license in April of this year.  I'm not worried about taking the 7 again if I had to, but the 24 and 55 sucked, and I'd rather not repeat that studing experience.

You mentioned that you could do temp work...any recommendations for B/Ds that offer temp work? I know at my current employer, they don't do part time/temp.
