Rex Childbirth Class Question

Have any of you ladies taken the childbirth class at Rex? I was wondering how much they discuss Rex's standard practices when it comes to childbirth?

I took it and I'd recommend it. I don't remember how much they discussed the standard practices but you are free to ask all the questions you want while there.

Also, I tried to sign up for the Rex class when I moved here at 24-25 weeks pg and they were booked already.  I would call ASAP if you want to get into their class to see if they have any openings since you're already 31 weeks.

Sorry I didn't mention it before. I'm already signed up for the class. My husband is reading a book that has him asking all sorts of questions about the delivery process that I don't know all the answers to. So I thought I'd ask on here if they tend to cover hospital policies in the class. Thanks!

Our childbirth class at Rex was great.  Our instructor was an OB nurse there and she explained everything to us.  I loved her and wished we had enough money to hire her as a doula.

I remember mine being very specific as well, she went over what to expect with a c/s in the hospital, what you could bring for the birth, birth plan, birthing ball, birthing ball, etc. Honestly though, once I was in labor all that info went out the window (other than the birthing ball which I used but I had a c/s)! But when I was there in the class I felt better knowing it, I did retain info on the infant care after that helped me (I had no clue how to give a newborn a bath prior to the class).
