Hi girls! So I went and bought a bottle of B6. However, I could only find 200mg. The dr says to take 10-25mg 3 times a day! So how do I go about that? Also, I'm not going to take the unisom since I have no trouble sleeping. It's just the All.Day.Nausea! Anyone just take B6 and have it work? TIA!

My OB said 50 mg in the am, 50 in the pm with a half of a unisom. I have 100mg B6 tablets, so I just cut them in half. As for the unisom, they don't tell you to take it to help you sleep; it was originally intended (and formulated) as an anti-nausea medicine, then later marketed as a sleep aid. Obviously, since it does help you sleep, you should only take it before bed though.

When you buy a smaller sized pill, you can also use a pill splitter to cut it. That's what I had to do - split a 50mg pill. They had the pills that size at Whole Foods, and you can get a pill splitter at any pharmacy.
