Hi Ladies...
I made an intro several months ago, but only made a couple of posts and mostly lurked. My name is Allyson and I'm 37 (birthday 12/20, hence my SN). DH and I have been married for 5 years. We have no children and a cat named Chloe.
You can see my loss history in my siggy. Our first loss was said to be attributed to our baby having Down Syndrome. We've been trying ever since our second loss this past November with no luck. I was put on Metformin and Clomid this cycle.
I'm worried about our BD'ing timing this month. I was told by my RE to have sex the day of my first +OPK and the next day. I didn't let DH know ahead of time that it was "time" and he was gone all day at a work meeting. Well, this work meeting consisted of drinking and smooshing. When DH got home, he had too much to drink which always makes it difficult for him to finish. We tried it again the next morning with no luck. I got another +OPK. Then I had to drive 3 hours for my niece's first birthday. By the time I got home at 7pm, it was already negative. We BD'ed that night...so I'm hoping that's not too late.
I'm looking forward to "meeting" all of you and getting to know you all (or as we say in the south y'all).

Hello! So, an LSU fan? Well, I generally like LSU, but I don't think we will be sitting together at Cowboy Stadium this September! It should be a great game and I can't wait. I see you are in Houston, are you going to go?
Ok, now that the important stuff is out of the way, I just have to tell you how sorry I am for your losses. It's so hard and unless someone has been there they just have no idea. I too am 37 with multiple losses. We've been trying since 2005. Have you had any testing done? Also, if you had a negative OPK, that doesn't mean it is too late. It isn't optimal because the best case is for the sperm to be waiting for the egg when you ovulate it, but once your surge starts you release an egg about 36 hrs later and then your egg should survive about 24 hours, so I think you are still ok with your timeline.
Take Care, (Go Ducks!)
Welcome back! Sorry about your losses. There are quite a few of us on this board who've had m/cs. GL to you!
