Hi Ladies, My sister gave me her Ameda Purely Yours breast pump to use and I have a question. I know it is not ideal to use a used breast pump but I cannot afford to buy a new one and I do have to go back to work after the baby is born

What parts do I need to replace? I heard something about the tubing needing to be replaced but I am not sure what else cannot be sanitized by cleaning methods that I would need to order from Ameda. Thanks ladies! I really appreciate your help
Re: Used Breast Pump
Ideally, you'd buy a new kit like this:

Honestly, if you're sure your sister doesn't have HIV or hepatitis, and that she didn't have thrush while pumping... I wouldn't worry too much. There is a risk of disease transmission, but hopefully your sister would tell you if she had AIDS.
