Fenugreek + Metformin?

Can you take these two together? I believe they have some of the same effects as far is balancing insulin levels, so I wanted to check. Also, has anyone used this mix AND added Blessed Thistle? If you use these or any combo thereof (for supply issues) please share your dosages. Thanks!
