Cough with reflux?

DS2 has reflux and is on medication for it. Yesterday I noticed he's got a gunky sounding cough. He doesn't seem sick otherwise. Has anyone else's LO that has reflux noticed a cough? It;s almost like he got something down in his lungs when he spit up and is trying to get it out. I was going to call the dr tomorrow, should I wait or call the after hours number today?

My LO has reflux, but a gunky sounding cough doesn't sound like a reflux symptom. Chocking while taking a bottle or breast is, and that sounds more wet because the milk is coming up, but that's all that I was aware of. Depending on how frequent this cough is, I would wait until tomorrow to call. If he's coughing a lot I would call to be safe.

If LO doesn't seem bothered by it, I'd wait. If LO has a fever or anything or does seem bothered, then call.
