One of my little sister's 14 year old friends is on my facebook and her was her status this morning..... "okayy so yeah imma be a mom, im very excited at times and scared too.. but everything is ment to be i just wish people wouldnt run their mouth... but if you do I will fvck you up!" ily mitchell julio miranda..: )" Yeahhhhhhh, so, 1. this is here pregnancy announcement on FB 2. SHE IS 14 & 3. I know I'm not suppose to judge, but CLEARLY she isn't mature enough for motherhood yet..... Why couldn't I have mine but she can have hers? (pity party/rant over)

I truly believe everything happens for a reason. It would make it easier if we were clued into the reasons when they actually happened though.

I do believe she is a little immature and that pregnancy announcement proves so. I was 17 when i had DS and i did get a lot of judgement but I was not the immature type like she is. So sorry you had to see that... I would hide her from your feed for a while.

I deleted her, but 17 can be acceptable, one of my BFF had her baby at 17 and she was very mature and didn't gloat about it and stuff like that on FB, but I DO NOT. condone 14 year olds having babies, that is outrageous!

 I could not agree more. I also believe that FB is the devil sometimes... I'm glad it wasn't around when i was that age... these kids post some ignorant things on there. ^5 on deleting her

yeah, I have contemplated on deleting mine entirely, but if I do that I can't catch up on all the gossip! haha :P

Ugh.. my cousin was 14 when she found out she was pregnant and she still is unfit at 18. I hate that it happens this way. I wish I could go visit for the sake of her baby, not so much as her cause I have problems with her, but it hurts too much, I went over there one time when he was a couple months old and I busted out crying as soon as I left. I should have a baby, not her, her baby shouldn't have to grow up in a world like her's. I tried to convince her to put him up for adoption so he would have a chance at a normal life and I was hoping she would let me take him, but she is too stubborn.

((big hugs)) I'm sorry you had to see that. Life and the universe can be so cruel and unfair.

My cousin in law (if that's sucha thing) had her first baby when she was 14. She is now 18 and pregnant with number three. My oldest SIL got pregnant with her first baby when she was 16, is now 19 and has two babies.(this was after having several abortions) My youngest SIL got pregnant with her first baby when she was 15, is almost 17 now and pregnant with her second. They are all on DH's side of the family, and the family has practically shamed them. It hardly seems fair to me. Like you, I try not to judge, but man! I feel bad for the babies. Because I know that DH's sisters and cousin rely on their family members to take care of their kids. They won't get jobs, didn't graduate high school, and refuse to go to school or do anything that may provide a better life for their kids. Seems like all they do is get pregnant. So not fair, but I guess we have no control over it. I can't go over to DH's side of the family right now....my emotions may get the best of me.

As to the fourteen year old, don't get too upset. We all know that things can go wrong. I'm sixteen, and I lost my baby. Not that I wish that on her, but just don't get too upset. I'm sorry you had to see that though Btw, I'm not ttc, I just know some people on the board.

I'm am not necessarily upset that she is 14, don't get me wrong, I'm not surprised knowing this girl IRL. I am very sorry for your loss no one should have to experience that especially someone as young as you. 16 is one of those in between ages, not quite grown but not quite a child either. It really just depends on how the person acts toward it, no, I don't condone someone your age getting pregnant, I'm NOT going to judge your or shun you because of it, you seem very mature, pregnancy makes some people grow up, just in the case I was referring to, clearly she has not and it gets to me. Also, I DO commend you on not trying again just yet, you are still very young and have your whole future ahead of you. Good luck in school, that should be your main focus right now. I really look forward to get to know you! ((((hugs)))

Ugh..I'm sorry you had to read that.  I don't like seeing babies having babies.  I feel so bad for this unborn baby because he/she will have to be raised by someone who is not ready to be a mom but cleary ready to open up her legs.

I know the feeling.  DH's friend's sister (late teens at the time I think) decided to friend me on facebook about two years ago because she wanted DH to know she was PG.  We weren't TTC yet but I had been ready to start trying for a few years.  Then after we had been TTC for a few months I saw her posting about being PG again.  I don't think her daughter was even a year old yet.  Now she has had her 20 wk appt and knows she is having another girl.  Her life is all drama and certainly can't be conducive to raising stable, healthy little girls.  I don't wish her ill, I just don't want to see it all over facebook every day.  Since my m/c I've blocked her feed.  I hope she can give those girls what they need. 

I know it's not true, but the m/c makes me wonder if we were the ones who made a mistake - by being so carefully to TTA and to get our lives in order first.

 Hon, please don't ever feel guilty that you TTA in order to get your life in order. I also TTA for 3 years before starting TTC.   You've done the responsible thing and now that you're ready, know that you will be an excellent mother.  Think of how much happier your baby will be in a stable home, with a stable family and with parents who care enough to be responsible hard workers.
