New Bumpie!
Hi everyone. I just flew from The Knot to The Bump. I am 6 weeks pregnant and oh so excited. I am a bit nervous as well. We were going to wait another year or so before we started to extend our family, but the universe had other plans! Has anyone experienced mild depression in the first few weeks? I am very in love with the idea of this baby, but I am having trouble saying goodbye to my late nights out with friends. I can barely keep my head off of my desk or a pillow for that matter. Our good friends came over a few nights ago, and wanted to go out for drinks. I declined, and felt fine about it. I went to lay in bed, and started to feel a little low about this transition. Again, I am so excited, and very appreciative of this gift, but again, I am having trouble saying goodbye to my freedom.
