Sharp pain down there?

I don't know if this is normal but I have been having these sharp pains. Is it normal to feel sharp pains once in a while down in your perineal/vagina area? Not abdomen. I am 35 weeks pregnant and I have these sharp pains down there once in a while that stops me in my track. It last a few seconds, I stop, paralyzed with fear/pain from the pain and it goes away. It was once in a while now I got 2 in the last 5 minutes.

Anyone else in the same boat?
