Need Gift Ideas

My best friend, who is more like my sister, recently had her first baby...a baby boy. I want to get him a nice and meanignful gift, preferably something personalized or monogrammed. I have thought of the monogrammed blanket, and/or monogrammed picture frame. I was wondering if there was anything else I can get? They live in a small apartment in NYC, so it has to be practical as well.

Any thoughts? TIA.

    Red Envelope has a lot of personalized baby presents.  DS's godfather gave him a personalized picture frame from there with a kit to make hand and foot prints (in clay) that are mounted in the frame.  Hard to describe but really nice.
