babies math doesn't make sense!

So we tried green beans and I got those spit at me til I was speckled green. But he settled down and ate them. We tried carrots and he didn't spit them at me, but he wasn't  enthusiatically opening his mouth like he does for butternut squash or pears. So I figure he is ok with them, but doesn't love it. Today I mixed 1 cube of green bean with 1 cube of carrot and he went crazy for it. It looked like a nasty batch of baby diarrhea, but he LOVED it. I wonder how

dislike+eh= LOVE?

I don't know, but I am not complaining! Hope everyone had a good saturday and their LOs enjoyed their dinner as much as mine did!

I might have to try that!  Thanks for the tip!  DS thinks green beans are ok, but he does not like carrots.  Hopefully mixing the two works for my LO as well!

We haven't tried green beans yet but DS hated peas when we tried them. He did like the carrots..maybe I'll try mixing!  When I put the pea puree in his mouth he gags and then shudders like it's the worst stuff in the world.

This exactly with my DS. Sometimes he eats the peas, sometimes he gags. Might have to mix and see if he'll eat them that way.
