I just placed a order online and when I was looking at the confirmation I used my maiden name instead of my married name. DH and I have been married almost 3 years and I still do this every once in a while for some reason.
I did it once, about 3 months after we got married I was signing Christmas cards for the 4 vets I worked with, I got to the 4th card and must have been spacing writing my name over and over because I signed it with my maiden name... I just left it so I didn't scribble all over her nice card, not even thinking that it was a new job and these people really didn't know my maiden name (hey, I was used to it!) but I explained it to her when she opened it and she was like "ohhh I was wondering who the heck that was!"
I've come close to doing it again, but it hasn't happened again.

I don't. My maiden name sounds weird to me now. We've been married almost 5 years. Last year I sold a car that I had bought before we were married, and I was supposed to sign my maiden name on the title. I accidentally signed my married name instead. Oops.

Not really. But my walgreens and amazon accounts still say my maiden name because I never took the time to change it.
I work for the family business, and it started feeling pretty weird to not use my maiden name when making calls for it once I started up working there a few months ago... But it's actually pretty stealthy to not share the name
