Just got my new home doppler in the mail and I LOOOOVE it!

I purchased the Sonoline B Pocket Fetal Doppler 3mhz online this past Wednesday, and I just got it in the mail today! I love it! It took me a while to find tooties heartbeat, but I found it! Going steady between 160-170. I am currently 11 weeks and 1 day. If any of you ladies get really nervous between appointments, or just want to make sure that everything is going well. I would highly advise purchasing one. It was 52.99 and then with shipping the total was 61.00 and some change. :-)

I would love one, but I also know myself and I think I would obsess about it and then if I couldn't fine the heartbeat for some reason I would FREAK.... yeah probly better for me to just wait for my appts and have one less thing to freak about.

I thought I might obsess too...well, and I did until I found it...took about 20 min. I kept finding my own, and then the sound of the placenta. But, I finally found it and called my mom, sis, and MIL to hear it. :-)

I totally did this last time. I got it at 10 wks and from 10-20 wks it was really easy to find. I figured as she got bigger it would be easier but she got increasingly harder to find. Once I could feel her move I archived the doppler. My daughter loves to listen to the baby in her belly and mommy's belly this time, so it was.a good purchase. Obviously we can't find anything yet, but she loves to play

I got my doppler yesterday and was wondering what the placenta sounds like? I heard 3 different sounds, the one I think is the baby sounds almost like heavy breathing (or even a dog panting, lol) and the doppler read it at 170ish.

Just want to confirm I am hearing the right sound.

I want one so bad but have heard its hard to find the baby's hb until 12 wks. I would want it now b/c I had a loss at 8-9 wks. So I figure it'll prob just panic me. Maybe after my next appt I will get it.
