Maybe if I only had one car seat to buy, I might have bought the Britax Marathon, but my wallet just couldn't afford TWO of those suckers.

We bought the Graco Myride 65 from BRU, I love the colors and they seem comfortable and safe enough!!

We don't have Britax. They cost twice as much as our Graco My Ride 65 and I don't think they even have cup holders. I can't imagine DS not having cup holders.

DS loves his cup holders for his paci and rings. It's so cute watching him look in there before I strap him in. Although he doesn't need cup holders for a drink at this age, eventually it might be nice for water.

We have a Safety 1st onSide air, it was $78, got decent reviews, and felt comfy, so that's what we went with. I drive a tank of a car so size wasn't an issue, but if I had a smaller car it might be a tad bulky.

By who? Britax seats are popular, but it's not as if others are bad or something. I don't think posts here have indicated that, anyway. A lot of people have suggested other ones they liked as well.

If it makes you feel any better, we got the most inexpensive one you can get (costco somethingorother for $45). At the time it was rated as safe as a Britax by Consumer Reports, so I don't feel guilty at all about it.
