Hi,

I'm Jennifer and my husband and I will be TTC in the next month or so. I've lurked on the bump for a while now. I visited the boards when I was pregnant with #3 in 2010, but we're going to be TTC #4, so I wanted to say hi and hopefully participate in the goings on here and share my ups and downs with people who understand.

I'm a teacher and we want to time the pregnancy around the school year, so I'm hoping to get pregnant in August or September. I won't miss as much work that way which is important because my husband is a SAHD. We'll see...

My husband's awesome. He keeps a garden and raises chickens in addition to the normal stay at home stuff. I think it's sometimes difficult for the dads who stay home because (especially in the South where we are) men are expected to provide for their families. Most people don't understand. When my first two were small, I stay home and he worked, and that was perfectly acceptable. Double standards all 'round!

Welcome to the board! I hope your stay is short and sweet. That is cool that YH is a SAHD. What does he have planted in his garden? I love gardening but took this summer off due to our move mid-summer.

Thank you! I hope so too, but we will see. He has corn, pumpkins, watermelon, several types of tomatoes, bell pepper, banana peppers, strawberries, beans of some kind, and eggplant. Oh, and carrots and onions, too. He wants to plant a fall/winter garden, but hasn't decided what to plant yet. We've never done a winter garden, so not sure how that'll turn out.
