double strollers that fit in mid-size sedan trunks

I have the Graco Quattro Tour Duo and it will not fit in the trunk of my Acura RL. I bought a side by side but had to return it because it could not fit through all the doors in our apartment complex. Can you let me know of strollers you have found that fit in the trunks of your cars? I was thinking the Graco DuoGlider because people had said it was smaller.

 TIA!

My BJCS fit in DH's trunk with room to spare.  I would imagine an umbrella style stroller like a Maclaren, or something like a Combi would fit in a sedan trunk no problem.

  • My Maclaren comfortably fits in the trunk of my Accord, and has fit in the trunk of a sub-compact sedan on a few occasions. It does fit all doorways that are ADA compliant, although it is a snug fit at times. Overall, a great solution for us (the Accord is our largest vehicle).

  • I have the Graco Duo-Glider and it fit in the trunk of my Pontiac Grand Am. You have to take off the front attachment if you are going to use it with infant seats but it's easy to snap on and off.

  • We have a B.JCS and a Mac.laren T.win T.riumph and they both fit in my car with no problem.

  • Our City Mini double fit easily in the trunk of DH's Chrysler 300M. It's only 29" wide so it fits through most doors, too--anyplace that's handicap accessible.

  • I have a dou glider and a jeep umbrella stroller.  The jeep is SBS, but fits through every door that I've ever tried to get it through and it folds up real small.  Both should fit in your trunk and like pp said that tray attachement is easy to take off to make it fold smaller.

  • I had a Grand Prix and my Graco Duoglider fit in the trunk!  I just had to pop off the front tray before sliding it in, but that isnt a big deal!

I have the Combi Twin Sport and it fits through all handicap accessible doors.  Sometimes it's a tight fit but I haven't found a door that we can't get through yet.  It also fits in the trunk of my Mazda3.  My friend has a McClaren though and she says that it folds smaller than the Combi.
